Integrative Medicine Foundation is proving that healthy communities and economies can be realized in sub-Saharan Africa by supporting and developing the inherent resources within traditional medicine.

Our solution is a comprehensive, phased approach to conducting clinical trial research on traditional medicines for the major diseases affecting the developing world: malaria, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, diarrheal and antibiotic-resistant diseases.  After identifying the most effective remedies, Integrative Medicine Foundation will assist Community Based Organizations (CBO) in developing entirely new economies based upon the development and distribution of those traditional medicines.

The Foundation believes that sustainable communities can be built through the research and development of traditional medicine and that we can achieve our vision of a truly integrated system of medicine based on best practice research that influences government health policy.
